T he chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Ughelli South, Hon Chief Michael Djegbe Oshetigho JP, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori on his victory at the Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court today nullified all election petitions filed by candidates of other political parties against Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and affirmed him as the duly elected governor of Delta State in the 2023 general elections. T wo-time member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on his victory at the Election Petitions Tribunal at Asaba. Hon Ahwinahwi described the verdict of the Tribunal which upheld the election of Right Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as victory for all Deltans. He noted that the judgement has further reaffirmed the belief in the Judiciary as the hope of the common man and hailed the judges for upholding the truth.
