Hon Ahwinahwi Hails Gov Oborevwori for Appointing Solomon Ighrakpata, Other Technocrats Into Revenue Board



Two time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has hailed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for appointing experienced technocrats into Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, DBIR.

A statement signed by Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi says the appointment of Hon Solomon Ighrakpata as Chairman of the Board is a demonstration that Governor Oborevwori is a grassroots leader who is committed towards delivering the dividends of his election through his MORE Agenda.

 He explained that Hon Solomon Ighrakpata who is to be the chairman and Hon Kelly Oghenekevwe, the Executive Director, Finance & Administration  are recognized technocrats who  have served on the Board meritoriously and as such have the prerequisite experience to pilot the affairs of the revenue house.

Hon Ahwinahwi added that other members of the Board, Barr. Frank Nwumbu (Executive Director, Operations); Collins Iwegbunor (Executive Director, ICT) and  Hon. Barr. Orezi Esievo (Executive Director, Legal Services) are also technocrats who have proven their mettle in their various fields of endeavour.

The former lawmaker congratulated the nominees and prayed God to grant them wisdom to succeed in their new assignment.

Hon Ahwinahwi called on Deltans to continue to support Governor Oborevwori whom he described as his brother and friend, to enable him succeed to the full in implementing his MORE Agenda geared towards advancing Delta State.
