N'DELTA AMNESTY: FORMER LAWMAKER, HON MERE CONGRATULATES KEMEPADO ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS HOR IN THE AMNESTY OFFICE

Alfred Kemepado Nimizigha on his appointment as Head of Reintegration (HOR) in the Amnesty office.  Hon Mere Williams on his congratulatory statement described the appointment of Kemepado who was a former Secretary-General, the Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Worldwide as well deserved, considering his salient commitment towards success of the struggle and with interest of the Niger Delta people.  Kemepado who was a former Special Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa State and until recently, the Special Adviser on Special Duties to Dikio, according to Hon Mere Williams is a valiant, plucky and indomitable gentleman who believes in emancipation of his people.  Mere also commended the Presidential Amnesty Program, PAP’s Interim Administrator, Col. GOV OKOWA NOMINATES ANIAGWU, OBORO, EGWEYENGA, OTHERS AS COMMISSIONERS

By Gabriel Ogheneovo ...Sends Commissioner Nominees to Delta Assembly.  The Delta State Governor, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has nominated fifteen commissioners and sent their names to the Delta State House of Assembly for screening and approval.  This was disclosed in a publication made by the Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Governor, Mr Ossai Ovie Success on his social media handle.  It reads: "The State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi has sent the names of fifteen Commissioner designates to the State House of Assembly for confirmation. Breaking: Gov Okowa Appoints Agas As Chief of Staff  By Ogheneovo Gabriel - June 10, 2021  The Delta State Governor, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has appointed Rt Hon Festus Ovie Agas as the new Chief of Staff to Government House.   The appointment letter was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah.  It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans, that His Excellency, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the appointment of Rt Hon Festus Ovie Agas as Chief of Staff, Government House.  "The date for the inauguration of the Chief of Staff shall be announced in due cause", he  wrote.
