Supreme Court: Oshetigho Congratulates Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori on his Victory



The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Ughelli South, Hon Chief Michael Djegbe Oshetigho JP, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori on his victory at the Supreme Court today.

The Supreme Court today nullified all election petitions filed by candidates of other political parties against Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and affirmed him as the duly elected governor of Delta State in the 2023 general elections.

Speaking after the judgement, Ughelli South chairman of the PDP, Hon Chief M.D. Oshetigho gave thanks to God Almighty as he danced in joy with other leaders of the party, in celebration of the victory, to the party's secretariat in Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South local government area of Delta State.

Oshetigho said the supreme court has upholded the rule of law, and decisively established the mandate of the people of Delta State who massively voted for candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party now governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

He asserts that Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori will deliver his M.O.R.E agenda to Deltans beyond expectations with its blue prints in all parts of the state even before now through his massive infrastructural project, viable security architecture and other meaningful development for Deltans.

As the legal battle ends today, Oshetigho urges candidates of other political parties to join hands with governor Sheriff Oborevwori in building the state in this political dispensation for the good of all Deltans and the state, with confidence that Gov Oborevwori with his experience and ability will steer the state to greater heights.
