At90: Oshetigho Congratulates HRM Macauley Popo Ovbagbedia, Owhorode of Olomu Kingdom




Ughelli South chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Hon Michael Oshetigho Djegbe, JP, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Macauley Popo Ovbagbedia as he clocks 90 years today.

In a congratulatory statement by Chief Hon Michael Oshetigho Djegbe, JP, said he joins and rejoices with the good people of the Great Ancient Olomu Kingdom in celebrating with HRM Macauley Popo Ovbagbedia, Uhurhie-Osadjere the 2nd, Ohworode of Olomu kingdom on his 90th birthday celebration.

He also said before his ascension to the throne of the Great Ancient Olomu Kingdom after the demise of HRM Ovie Dr Richard Layeguen Ogbon Goni-Oghoro, the First, has rendered meritorious service to the people of Olomu Kingdom and the nation.

Oshetigho added that with his wealth of experience and values as Uhurhie-Osadjere the 2nd, Ohworode of Olomu kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Macauley Popo Ovbagbedia would impact meaningfully not only to the Olomu Kingdom, but also to the Urhobo nation, the state and the entire country.

"Your Majesty, Macauley Popo Ovbagbedia, it gives me pleasure to join and rejoice with the good people of Olomu Kingdom in celebrating you as you clock 90 years today.

"You have been a source of joy, aspiration, fostered peace and development to the great Olomu Kingdom and its extraction. Celebrating your birthday today is more an opportunity to celebrate royal patriarch and wishing him more greater years ahead. 

On this day, on behalf of my family, the leadership and members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ughelli South, I heartily congratulate you and pray that God Almighty will continue to grant you more wisdom, strength, good health, and may your reign brings peace and prosperity to the great Olomu Kingdom.
