I Have Great Passion for Education - Ejiro

The Special Assistant on Youth Development to the governor of Delta State, Chief Hope Ayomide Ejiro has said that he has inordinate and prodigious passion for education especially for children in Ekakpamre Ward in Ughelli South.

Chief Hope Ayomide Ejiro is the founder of CHIEF EJIRO E.A. HOPE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM. The program with interest of providing instructional materials (not limited to) to schools with current focus on public primary schools in Ekakpamre Ward.

According to the founder, Chief Hope Ayomide Ejiro said this year's face of the program he will not only donate instructional materials such as books and other materials to all public primary schools in the ward but currently building a block of two classroom and a principal office at Egbo-Uhurie primary school.

In his view, education is defined in different ways by different scholars. According to Socrates, "Education means the bringing out of the ideas of universal validity which are latent in the mind of every man".

Prof. H. Mahmud Yunus, "Education efforts that are deliberately chosen to influence and assist children with the aim of improving knowledge, physical and morals that can gradually deliver the child to the highest goal".

In the above perspectives, Chief Hope Ayomide Ejiro said that the better ways of having better leaders for better societies is to assist the child with necessary resources to acquire needed knowledge, skills, value for personal and societal development.

He added that education is a major factor by which learners are actively developing the potential for the child to have the spiritual strength of religious, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed for themselves and society.

He assured the completion of the building project in no distance time and a set date for official handing over and all other materials as designed by the organising committee of the program for this year's activities.

GOV OKOWA NOMINATES ANIAGWU, OBORO, EGWEYENGA, OTHERS AS COMMISSIONERS
