Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi To Appeal High Court Judgement

Hon Chief Solomon Urhoboyovwe Ahwinahwi, has issued a press statement to appeal the verdict of the Federal High Court in Asaba on his candidacy as the rightful candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency.

According to him, I, Honourable Chief Solomon Urhoboyovwe Ahwinahwi, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the 2023 House of Representatives election in Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency, hereby express my dissatisfaction with the Federal High Court judgement of 17th October, 2022 in Asaba.

At the moment, our team of lawyers is studying the judgement with a view to advising us on the next appropriate legal actions to take.

I do assure you all, our teeming supporters, as well as well-wishers, that I remain the candidate of the PDP for the House of Reps election in 2023. I will appeal the High Court judgement based on the professional advice of our lawyers who are on top of the matter.

I sincerely thank our indefatigable Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the leaders and members of our great Party and the entire good people of our beloved Federal Constituency. Special thanks to our esteemed supporters for your steadfastness and love since the beginning of my political journey towards the 2023 House of Reps elections in Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency.

I urge all our supporters to remain calm and not to be distracted but to remain confident and focused on our set goals, with the assurance that we all as a Party shall be victorious at the end.
