AHWINAHWI WELCOMES VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF PDP, GOV OKOWA, TO DELTA STATE



Appreciates Rousing Reception By Teeming Supporters


The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, House of Representatives candidate for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has joined millions of Deltans to welcome home Governor Ifeanyi Okowa from Abuja, on his first visit since after his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Vice Presidential Candidate.

Hon Ahwinahwi in an interview, said the large turnout of Deltans who came out to welcome Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is a clear demonstration that Deltans are happy with his choice as the running mate to Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.



He noted that Governor Okowa's outstanding performance in Delta State has endeared him to all Deltans and made him stand out among the thirty-six Governors in the country.

The two-time House of Representatives member noted that Alhaji Abubakar Atiku made the right choice by picking Governor Okowa as his running mate, noting that Governor Okowa is super qualified for the Number Two position, having served in the Legislature as Senator and the Executive as Governor.



Hon Ahwinahwi stressed that, armed with these experiences and those of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku which he garnered as Vice President under the Obasanjo administration, both of them can pass as the best pair to rescue Nigeria from her present state.

He added that the emergence of Dr Okowa, whom he referred to as his senior brother, is a blessing to Delta State and expressed confidence that the PDP will have a smooth sail in the general elections, noting that Nigerians are fed up with the All Progressives Congress, APC, Government at the national.



He thanked PDP leaders for the choice of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Party and urged all Nigerians to support the Atiku/Okowa ticket.
