AHWINAHWI CONGRATULATES GOV OKOWA ON HIS EMERGENCE AS RUNNING MATE TO ATIKU

People's Democratic Party, PDP, House of Representatives candidate for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his emergence as the running mate to the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.

Hon Ahwinahwi in his Congratulatory Message, expressed happiness at the emergence of Governor Okowa describing it as most deserving.

The two-time House of Representatives member said the choice of Governor Okowa as running mate to Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, will give the PDP, easy victory owing to his unparallel achievements in Delta State in the last 7 years.

He expressed happiness over Governor Okowa whom he called his big brother, boss and leader on the milestone, noting that as the saying goes, a golden fish has no hiding place. He added that Okowa's administrative prowess in midwifing successful conventions and his skilful handling of other national assignments of the Party has singled him out as the choicest.

Chief Ahwinahwi, in his permutation, noted that the choice of Governor Okowa is the wisest, because of his dual "citizenship-advantage", as Governor Okowa is from Delta State which is regarded as the heart of the South-South region and also from the Anioma axis of the State, which share cultural and tribal affinity with the South-East.

He explained that with that two-fold advantage, Governor Okowa will deliver the South-South and the South-East regions of the country and beyond for the PDP.

Hon Ahwinahwi added that, with Alhaji Abubakar Atiku sweeping the Northern votes due to his popularity and wide acceptance, the Party is as good as having won the Presidential election.

Hon Ahwinahwi prayed God to grant the PDP total victory in the general elections come 2023.
