FOREMOST LEADER IN UDU, ONO-SORHUE, DELEGATES, OTHERS ENDORSE AHWINAHWI FOR HOUSE OF REPS




Renowned godfather of Udu politics and national delegate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, High Chief Eddie Ono-Sorhue, some leaders and electoral delegates in Udu Wards One, Two, Three and Eight have thrown their weight behind frontline aspirant for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Honourable Solomon Ahwinahwi.

The leaders made their position known at the weekend during a consultation meeting hosted at the residence of Chief Ono-Sorhue in Udu.

Speaking at the very successful visit, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi said that he recognized the fact that Udu is a deciding factor for success as far as Ughelli-Udu politics is concerned.

He promised to work with people from Udu Kingdom after his return to the Green Chamber and urged the delegates to vote for him en masse in both the Primary and the general elections.

Responding, Chief Ono-Sorhue said he called the meeting with all sincerity of purpose so that Hon Ahwinahwi can meet with the delegates face-to-face, noting that the group has the numerical strength to guarantee the victory of the two-term Member of the House of Representatives.

Leaders present at the meeting including membrrs of Udu Wards 1, 2, 3 and 8 were High Chief Eddie Ono-Sorhue, Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties, Chief Henry Sakpra,; Mr. Samuel Ughwujowhowo popularly called CBN; Olorogun Vincent Oyibode, Commissioner, DESOPADEC; former Legal Adviser to PDP in the State, Barrister Joshua Yarere; LGA Woman Leader, Ufuoma Edewor; Hon Friday Orugbo; Hon. Chief Donald Brosu; Hon. King Onoghwaran; Comrade Sandra Afoghen; Mr Justice Irikefe Iyasere and Hon. Edwin Notoma among others.

GOV OKOWA NOMINATES ANIAGWU, OBORO, EGWEYENGA, OTHERS AS COMMISSIONERS
