Mrakpors' Movement as a Group Accompanies Principal As Brother Bids Farewell to Late Mother-In-law at Kiagbodo

Members of Mrakpors' Movement led by their Director General, DG, Hon Evang Peter Sane Darah today 10 December, 2021 accompanied their Principal, Dr. Peter Adogbejire Mrakpor, SAN, as his brother, Chief Alfred Mrakpor bids farewell to late mother-in-law, Christiana E. Oluku at Kiagbodo in Burutu LGA of Delta State.

Speaking briefly after the event, the Director General of the group, Peter Sane Darah said that the leadership and members of the group express condolences to the bereaved family over the loss. He added that the late Christiana E. Oluku who died at 67, according to her testament until her death, was a good, caring and honest person who had lived a fulfilled life. 

He also said that the group acknowledged the fact that the brother of its principal, Chief Alfred Mrakpor has today fulfills traditional demand as he performs final burial rites ( in-law greetings) which attracted dignities from all walks of life. 

It's therefore a reminder to all and sundry that at one day or the other, we shall all depart this world for the world beyond before which our bodies shall be transfigured to be with our maker (God). As such, it is salient we live our lives in laying down good legacy which could stand test of time. 

The group members also followed the entourage of her Principal to the service of songs of the late Prince Nutesian George Ugen at his country home, Otu-jeremi in Ughelli South LGA.
