The national vice-chairman of coalition of Urhobo/Isoko phase 1, 2 and 3 Ex-agitators has commended the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio for keeping to promise for a peaceful Niger Delta region.
He made this commendation at Ughelli, Delta State stating that Col. Milland Dixon Dikio since inception of office has brought limelight to purpose of the Amnesty Programme which focuses on bringing peace, stability and development to the region.
By personal justification, the dogged ex-agitator posited that Col. Dikio's is a man of tactical shrewdness who knows, feels needs of the region and working steadfastly in collaboration with stakeholders of the programme to achieve its goals.
He posited that Col. Milland Dixon Dikio through his operational programme has initiated lucrative and prospective vocational skills and educational programmes which can foster self-reliant and employable opportunities to ex-agitators to improve on economic development of nation.
Meanwhile, he appreciated Col. Dikio for granting and funding his medical trip to India for surgery over gunshot wound he sustained during the struggle. He said "what Charles Quarker Dokubo could not do, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio has done it".
Hence he affirmed that the beneficiaries of the programme have not regretted the appointment of Col Milland Dixon Dikio.
He urged him to continue with his good works for a sustainable peace, stability and development of the Niger Delta as he assured him of full-scale support in achieving his aims.
