By Omologe U. F. Former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi, has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Deltans on the thirtieth anniversary of the State. Hon Ahwinahwi, in his congratulatory message, said Delta State created on August 27, 1991, has made tremendous progress which has placed it ahead of others created at the same time. The former lawmaker attributed the rapid progress in the state to the strategic leadership of the three successive governments of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from 1999 till date. Hon Ahwinahwi hailed former Governor James Ibori for laying a solid foundation in the State which was built upon by former  Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and described both of them as visionary.
