Party Chairman Urges Elected, Appointed Officials to Boost Party in their Wards

Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, of Ughelli South Local Government Area, Hon Michael Djegbe Oshetigho has urged elected and appointed officials of the party to boost conduct of the party in their respective wards. 


He stated this charge when he attended Jeremi Ward 4 month of June meeting where he tasked all government office-holders through the party especially Councillors to work in synergy with their wards party Exco in actualising aims and long term goal of the meeting and the party. 


He noted that the primary aim of the wards  monthly meetings holding across all the wards in the local government is to boost commitment of members to the party in their various units and wards for more productivity. 


As the presence of office-holders during their ward meetings will encouraged attendance of members, Oshetigho urged them to integrate with wards exco with necessary corroboration in order to achieve aims of the meetings.


Hon Oshetigho unfolded that the party targets to achieve a cause which is to knock down opposition and gain astounding victory in all five elective positions across the country during the 2023 general elections. 


"We wish to urge our elected and appointed officials of the party to always attend their wards monthly meetings as that will go along way to encourage members of the party in their various wards in attending the meetings. 


"The main purpose of the meetings is to have a more stronger and united party in various wards of the local government area and also, it will stand as a momentum to provide solutions to problems within the party", he said.

GOV OKOWA NOMINATES ANIAGWU, OBORO, EGWEYENGA, OTHERS AS COMMISSIONERS
