Former member of the House of Representatives and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Chief Solomon Ahwinahwi, has felicitated with Hon Chief Mercy Alakis Awhana on her birthday.  In a statement by the former federal lawmaker, Hon Ahwinahwi, described her as a beloved sister who has been supportive to him politically with an uncommon commitment and capacity for women mobilisation. Ahwinahwi noted that Hon Mercy Awhana is a rare breed among the new generation politicians with outstanding humility and a high sense of dedication which makes her representation as Councillor, Ewu ward 2 at the Ughelli South legislature most deserving. Niger Delta Ex-agitator and Delta State chairman of Ex-agitators phase 2, Gen Adu Solomon has congratulated the new Presidential Amnesty Programme Boss, Major General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (retd) as Interim Administrator of the Programme by President Muhammadu Buhari.  In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, said: “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Major General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (retd) as Interim Administrator of the Amnesty Programme.
